ADP’s Sales Tax Solutions Achieve Oracle Validated Integration for ADP’s Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay Integrations with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise, and Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

ROSELAND, N.J. (September 21, 2010) – ADP ®, a leading provider of HR, payroll and benefits administration services, today announced that it is the first vendor in the transaction tax market to have its two primary sales tax engines – the Sales and Use Tax System and Taxware Enterprise – validated for integration with all three major Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.  Specifically, ADP has achieved Oracle Validated Integration for the following U.S. integrations:

  • Taxware Enterprise 8.0 with the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.0
  • Taxware Enterprise 8.0 with the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1
  • Taxware Enterprise 8.0 with Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0

  • Sales and Use Tax System 3.6.1 with Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise 9.0

The validation testing was completed through the Oracle PartnerNetwork’s (OPN) Oracle Validated Integration program and underscores ADP’s ongoing commitment to delivering maximum user benefit by collaborating with industry- and technology-leading ERP developers such as Oracle.

“ADP continues to demonstrate its leadership in the transaction tax market, and being the first to achieve Oracle Validated Integration with multiple Oracle ERP solutions is another important milestone in our efforts to expand our market presence,” said Bob Levis, Division Vice President and General Manager of ADP’s sales tax business. “More and more of our clients are recognizing the benefits of the virtually seamless integration between ADP’s sales tax solutions and the innovative and reliable Oracle ERP platforms.”

Taxware Enterprise 8.0 is ADP’s flagship sales, use, and value-added tax engine. Available as a hosted- or premise-based solution, it is designed for multi-national companies that have more demanding requirements.

The Sales and Use Tax System is ADP’s domestic sales and use tax solution, designed for companies doing business in the United States and Canada.

“Achieving Oracle Validated Integration through OPN gives customers confidence that ADP solutions are compatible with the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise, and Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne,” said Kevin O’Brien, Senior Director, ISV and SaaS Strategy, Oracle. “We apply a rigorous technical review and test process to help ensure the highest standards of integration in order to mitigate risk, enhance system implementation cycles and upgrades, and help minimize required maintenance.”

ADP will be exhibiting in booth #2628 at Oracle OpenWorld 2010 in San Francisco, Calif., September 20-22, 2010, and ADP associates will be on hand at the show to answer questions about the newly validated integrations. For more information, please visit www.ADP.com.
