ADP Sets Standard for Business Process Outsourcing Solutions

ROSELAND, New Jersey (January 31, 2008) – ADP ® Employer Services, a leading provider of HR, payroll and benefits administration services, today announced it has achieved a significant milestone for its Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions, topping 100 live clients as of January 2008. In the past 12 months alone, ADP has implemented 34 new clients, redefining the industry standard and demonstrating the strength of ADP’s solutions for both U.S. and global clients.

“The demand for HR BPO bundled solutions continues to grow, and we are actively meeting that market demand with a comprehensive suite of scalable solutions for companies of all sizes and geographies,” said Gary Butler, President and CEO, ADP. “Unlike other HR BPO providers whose roots are in IT management or call center services, ADP is, and has always been, focused on providing critical HR-related services to its clients. This approach has helped us achieve a clear leadership position in the HR BPO space.”

“ADP is making strategic investments in its comprehensive HR BPO offerings, in an effort to provide multiple and differentiated HRO offerings to meet the needs of buyers,” said Monica Barron, Vice President, HRO Research, Everest Research Institute. “ADP has already had success with its U.S. offering for mid-sized organizations, and now the company is out to prove its ability to execute and compete on a global scale. Clearly, there is an underserved segment of the HRO market that is responding well to its GlobalView offering.”

ADP Achieves U.S. BPO Milestone

For U.S. clients, ADP Comprehensive Outsourcing Services (COS) delivers fully integrated administrative solutions across a wide range of critical HR functions. With 51 clients live, including newly added Sodexho, Virgin America and DCP Midstream, ADP now has more than 550,000 employees supported by its HR BPO solution in the U.S. alone. ADP is also working with 10 additional clients in implementation.

Unlike traditional ‘lift and shift’ BPO, the ADP COS offering utilizes scalable proprietary platforms that enable clients to transition smoothly onto a proven solution. With this scalable offering, ADP successfully partners with organizations with as few as 1,000 employees to those like Sodexho with more than 100,000 employees.

“This key differentiator is good for both ADP and our clients. ADP is able to leverage platforms with predictable profitability and clients can more quickly realize the benefits of HR BPO. We believe this unique approach to HR BPO — one where both partners prosper — has significantly contributed to our industry leading position,” added Butler.

ADP Succeeds with Global HR BPO Capabilities

ADP GlobalView ® is the company’s HR BPO offering for multinational organizations, greatly expanding ADP’s presence internationally. Leveraging the SAP ® ERP Human Capital Management solution, ADP GlobalView offers a single-source multilingual, multicurrency payroll solution for employers like EMC and Rhodia in more than 46 countries.

Today, 56 clients are using GlobalView to apply payroll and HR policies, and view consolidated reports from a single database. In total, more than 70 clients have signed on for the service, representing nearly 850,000 employees.

Industry Acknowledges ADP

In the past year, HROA (Human Resources Outsourcing Association) has recognized ADP for both its U.S. and global BPO offerings.
