Ascentis Welcomes New Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Andrew Keenan

Bellevue, Wash. (October 01, 2009) – Ascentis Corporation, a market leader in easy-to-use human resources software and online payroll services, has named Andrew Keenan as the company’s new vice president of sales and marketing. With extensive sales management experience, Mr. Keenan will be assuming responsibility for the strategic vision and tactical execution of all sales, marketing and partner initiatives for Ascentis Corp.

Mr. Keenan has more than 20 years of experience in both inside and field sales management. Most recently, Mr. Keenan was Vice President of Sales for Baynote, Inc., and there he exceeded their targeted revenue numbers. Prior to that, he built the national field sales organization for NetSuite. As a key member of the sales management team, he helped grow NetSuite from $9 to $45 million per year in revenue. He has also worked with fast growing, sales focused companies such as Oracle, Siebel and Trilogy. Mr. Keenan received his B.A. from U.C. Berkeley, and his MBA from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. In addition, he believes strongly in the SaaS delivery model, and is ideally suited to open new markets and delivery channels for Ascentis products and services.
