Ceridian LifeWorks Reaccredited by the Council on Accreditation

MINNEAPOLIS (February 13, 2009) – The Council on Accreditation (COA) has again recognized Ceridian LifeWorks as a provider that continues to successfully implement high performance standards and the highest quality services to employer organizations, institutions and government. Ceridian’s accreditation was extended for another four years, the maximum accreditation period.

COA reaccreditation is an objective and reliable verification that provides confidence and support to an organization’s service recipients, board members, staff and community partners. The COA process involves a detailed review and analysis of both an organization’s administrative operations and its service delivery practices. All are measured against national standards of best practice. These standards emphasize services that are accessible, appropriate, culturally responsive, evidence-based and outcomes-oriented.

Following a site visit that was part of the reaccreditation process, participant David C. Congdon, corporate director of operations, training and research at The Children’s Home Society of Florida, sent the following comment, “You certainly have some outstanding strengths in your approach and services, and that was excellent to see. You appear to have a very relevant place on the cutting edge and look like a fascinating group with which to work.”

“Earning COA reaccreditation is not only an honor, it’s a public validation of the high quality service we provide our clients and military personnel,” says Norene Miller, Ceridian LifeWorks Vice President of Service Delivery and Account Management. “Sharing our best practices in administration, management and service delivery offers LifeWorks an opportunity to continue developing our leadership in employee assistance programs (EAP) and work-life services.”

Cherie Zadlo, Vice President of LifeWorks Military Programs and currently the prime contractor for the Military OneSource program adds, “We are proud of our COA accreditation because it means that we have met rigorous, internationally recognized standards of excellence in the quality of our services and management.”
