Ceridian Offers Businesses Insight into Surviving Today’s Changing, Challenging Workplace

Tips on saving money with employee benefits programs will launch 2009 thought leadership series

Minneapolis (February 10, 2009) – Ceridian Corporation, a leading provider of managed human resource and payroll outsourcing solutions, announced today it will broadcast educational Web forums to help employers manage the dramatic changes occurring in today’s workplace.

Ceridian’s 2009 series of free presentations for HR, benefits and payroll professionals, is slated to kick off March 4, 2009, with How to Generate Cost Savings from your Employee Benefits Program.

Pre-registration is available at the Ceridian Leadership Web Forum registration page.

“Ceridian welcomes the opportunity to provide this valuable information – especially right now,” said Brian Wright, Ceridian’s senior vice president of marketing. “The HR industry is undergoing dramatic change. We understand managing change, especially during this unprecedented economic environment, can be a complex and difficult task, but it’s vital for businesses to do so and we want to help.”

Throughout the series, industry experts will share insights into the large-scale changes impacting today’s marketplace – from pending legislative changes to business trends. They will also offer tips and best practices on how to make the most of these changes.

For example, a Ceridian thought leadership Web forum that addressed changes in Congress was broadcast in December, 2008. Jim O’Connell, Ceridian’s executive consultant in Washington, D.C., presented Election and Economy 2008: Implications for Compliance 2009. O’Connell, a well-known legislative and congressional analyst, discussed the new era of federal compliance requirements, including specific work-related areas such as paid FMLA, union elections and electronic verification of new-hire work eligibility.

A replay of O’Connell’s live presentation is available at Election and Economy 2008.

The remaining 2009 forums will feature similar topics of interest to employers – many of whom are searching for proven ways to save money, maximize their workforces and streamline HR processes in this challenging economic climate.
