Online health tool launched by Ceridian LifeWorks

N/A (October 30, 2007) – Ceridian, one of the largest providers of human resource services in the world, has strengthened its LifeWorks health and wellbeing offering with a new online resource, Healthnotes.

Launched this month, Healthnotes provides comprehensive, easy-to-understand information to answer a variety of health questions. The tool, which draws on healthy living and self-care research from over 600 key medical journals, will be made available to all corporate clients, ensuring their employees have access to the latest knowledge on over 650 health concern topics.

Jeremy Campbell, head of LifeWorks at Ceridian in the UK, said: “We are delighted to be able to make Healthnotes available to our clients. Through the utilisation reports, our clients can see which health issues their employees are concerned about and tailor their awareness programmes accordingly. With sickness absence costing UK businesses over £12 billion a year, effective health awareness strategies can have a big impact on the bottom line.”

The Healthnotes resource includes a vitamin guide, an overview of alternative medicine options and a safety checker to identify interactions between prescription medications and other medicines or supplements. This forms part of the LifeWorks service, which is an employee support and assistance programme comprising counselling services, self-assessment tools and advice materials.
