Regional Medical Center Signs Contract for Lawson Human Capital Management Suite

ST. PAUL, Minn. (October 04, 2006) – Lawson Software (Nasdaq:LWSN) today announced that Riverside Health System has selected the Lawson Human Capital Management suite to help centralize and streamline its human resources operations. The deal was signed in Lawson’s fourth quarter of fiscal 2006, which ended on May 31, 2006.

Riverside Health System is a nonprofit regional medical center located in Newport News, Va., with affiliates throughout the region. Riverside Health System has approximately 7,000 employees who provide state-of-the-art medical care to patients in Eastern Virginia.

Lawson Human Capital Management will replace Riverside Health System’s legacy human resources system, providing time and cost savings. Riverside expects to record an annual cost savings of more than $400,000 and reduce avoidable turnover by 10 percent. In addition, the Lawson applications will bring enhanced functionality for workforce management and increase self-service among Riverside employees.
